Reporting directly to the Chief Engineer at the Bachelor Mine, the person will have the following duties:
Monthly development and production planning;
Issue all development, construction and production plans in accordance with
laws and regulations in force as well as the company's procedures and policies;
Prepare and present the weekly objectives to the Under Ground Operations Department;
Ensure compliance of the work carried out with respect to compliance of plans and
Supervise and supervise the duties of surveyors and junior engineers;
Maintain smooth running and quality of the work carried out by the engineering department
in the absence of the chief engineer ;
Perform other duties related to this position.
Requirements and Skills
Bachelor Degree of Engineering in Mining;
Member of "Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec";
3 to 5 years experience;
Available for 4/3 rotation schedule;
Training with FMTM 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 et 7;
Work experience in a conventional mine is an asset.
